الزتونة:-

- بتعمل inspect لاربع حاجات .. الشكل و اللون و الملمس و الانسجة حوالين ال nails

Nail plate shape, bed color, texture , tissue surround nails

- و بتعمل test of capillary refill

1) introduce your self 

بتمسك الشيت أو التذكرة و تعرف اسم المريض ثلاثي تدخل تتعرف عليه و تعرفه بنفسك

Good morning Mr/ Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed , How are you doing .. I'm Mr/ ......... l'm a nurse

2) explain the procedure 

بتبدأ تشرح الاجراء اللي انت هتعمله مع المريض

 say مثلا ..

I'm gonna to assess your nail shape, texture and color

3) prepare equipment 

بتحضر الادوات و تبقى ..

* Strong, direct light

* flexible centimeter ruler

* penlight

هنعمل ايه بيهم مش عارف بس المهم متنساش مصدر الضوء القوي عشان ده اهم حاجة وانت بتعمل inspection 

4) Hand washing ..

بتغسل ايدك و تعمل باقي ال infection control procedure .. زي مثلا تلبس الماسك او الgloves 

5) Maintain body mechaincs .. provide privacy

6) inspect finger nail plate shape

و بيكون colorless و convex curve و round

و بتكون الزاوية الطبيعية بين ال nail و ال nail bed بتساوي 160° .. لو بقت 180° يبقى الحالة دي اسمها clubbing finger

7) inspect finger nail & toe nail bed color

و بيكون اللون الطبيعي pink او translucent

... و الفحص ده  بيزودك بمعلومات عن

 ال perfusion و ال oxygenation status .. و ال pallor او ال cyanosis

8) inspect finger nail & toe nail texture, consistency (smoothness, thickness, adherence to nail bed)

و ده بيساعد ف الكشف عن ال nutritional و ال cardiovascular و ال respiratory condition

9) inspect tissue surround nails

بيقولوا عليها الودنة بتبقى عبارة عن انسجة زيادة طالعة حوالين ال nails

10) perform test of capillary refill

انك بتعمل pressing على ال nail tip و تلاحظ تغير اللون (watching for color change) .. الطبيعي انه يرجع لل pink tone من ١ - ٢ ثانية .. 

في حالة ال cyanotic او ال sluggish ممكن يكون دليل على cardiovasculer او respiratory dysfunction

11) rearrange the equipment if used

12) Place patient comfortably

  abnormal بالنسبة لل nail .. 

1. Sluggish and cyanotic color return

وانت بتعمل ال capillary refill test

2. Clubbing: increase in soft tissue of distal part fingernail

و ده علامة على chronic hypoxia

3. Koilonychia : dystrophy of fingernail

نتيجة لل iron deficinecy Anemia
